We are looking for a skilled and performance-driven Web Designer with strong technical abilities and SEO knowledge to help craft a modern, intuitive, and conversion-optimized web presence for our Nextcloud ecosystem. Your work will play a vital role in shaping user journeys, improving performance, and presenting our technically advanced solutions in a clear and engaging way while upholding our mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling, responsive website layouts and landing pages.
• Create UI/UX designs optimized for intuitive user journeys across all device types.
• Optimize site architecture, content structure, and technical elements for SEO.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve website performance (speed, accessibility, conversion).
• Implement design solutions compatible with Nextcloud templates, theming, and integrations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, usability standards, and SEO practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain visual consistency and brand identity.
• Provide graphics, icons, and assets for UI elements and web components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Web Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of professional experience in Web Design, UI/UX, or a similar role
• Proven experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO, and on-page optimization.
• Experience in compliant, privacy-centric behavioral analytics frameworks to derive actionable insights for optimized user journey design.
• Proficiency with design tools (Adobe).
• Strong sense of visual aesthetics, typography, and modern design trends.
• Performance-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
