Laying asphalt, cutting surfaces, managing live traffic — that's skilled work under real pressure. Now you can get paid for it.

The Observer Programme pays experienced road workers to record their working day using lightweight smart glasses. You do your normal work — we capture the expertise.

How it works

• Wear smart glasses (compatible with hard hats and hi-vis) while you work
• Record sessions from 30 minutes up
• Spend a few minutes after each session confirming what tasks you did
• Get paid per recorded minute
• All recordings are anonymised — no faces, no voices, no identifying details

What you'll earn

€20–€28 per recorded hour

€80–€112 per recording day (based on ~4 hours)

€1,200–€1,800 per month (based on 20 recording days)

First Observers earn a launch bonus. Extra earnings possible through referral bonuses.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of road or highway work experience
• Currently working — employed or contract
• Hands-on work: surfacing, line marking, pothole repair, machine operation
• Smartphone (iOS or Android)

All specialisms welcome: asphalt/tarmac layer, line marking operative, road surfacing machine operator, road inspection/survey operative, pothole repair crew.
